Preferably without people: in my experience since 2012, despite being my birthplace, there is too much gossip and stalking in Turin
As an American online friend said...too much "spilling the tea"
And, personally, I prefer to drink liters of tea than spill (i.e. gossip) as single drop 😇
If you keep the locals or long-residents foreigners (which in Turin means also those from outside the town, even if holding an Italian passport) at arm's length, the town has really nice architectural marvels, mainly built by past generations (even centuries and, in few cases, millennia)
So, enjoy your visit 😊
