Dancing all her life, becoming a teenage cheerleader and then a professional choreographer, dancer, actor, film-maker, director and singer-songwriter, appearing on stage and on screen, in front and behind the camera, in films and on TV, from the early sixties to date.
In the early 1970's Toni Basil and Don "Campbellock" Campbell were founder members of 'The Lockers' dance group, cementing themselves in history as true pioneers of street dance.
Best known to some for her multi-million selling worldwide No: 1 hit single "Mickey" in 1982.
She won an Emmy Award in 2007 and was a recipient of the "Living Legend of Hip Hop" award from Hip Hop International.
