Band contest! Become support artists of Freshlyground show in Riga.

On 26th July in Riga, Daugava concert hall, there will perform one of decade’s best African bands Freshlyground. They have collaborated with Shakira on FFIA World Cup 2010 official song Waka Waka (This Time for Africa), hit songs Doo Be Doo and I’d Like, which was turned into dubstep hit Sierra Leone by New Zealand’s duo Mt Eden.
Concert in Riga will be opened by talented, stylistically appropriate band, able to provide quality performance. As well as Freshlyground inspires fans in Africa to strive for success, band wants to inspirit and spotlight talented local band in Latvia.
IC Concerts in collaboration with Freshlyground invites to participate on contest.
Contest order.
Bands (soloists, duos, and other staff), willing to apply for possibility to become support act of show in Riga, on contest gallery http://www.draugiem.lv/ic/gallery/?aid=5… have to add video with represented band’s live performance. Additionally, for faster communication – e-mail to [email protected] reference to the application and your phone number.
Followers of the page asked to vote for the best.
On 19th July IC together with Freshlyground will pick winner from those with the most votes.
On 21th July there will be announced winner – musician(s) asked to perform before Freshlyground on 26th July 20:00 at Daugava concert hall with 20-35min performance.
Additional prizes.
3 bands with the biggest number of votes will receive invitations to the show. Winning artists will receive 1 additional invitation each member. Invitations cannot be changed in cash or sold.
