UCLan's School of Health has three state-of-the-art clinical skills laboratories: critical care, paediatric and nursing and midwifery. Students will use them throughout their courses to develop their skills in a safe environment, practicing again and again until they feel confident to try them out, under supervision, in practice. UCLan has a wide range of equipment in the skills laboratories and ‘drop-in’ sessions are also provided by Practice Learning Instructors.
