D.P.D.

In 2001 in small city in south-east Poland there was a band. Three teengers (Kostek - guitar & vocals, Bednar - drums and Romek - bass guitar) started to play punk rock in drummer's house attic. Very soon they started to play live in Zamość and small cities around. Band was called "Dopierdalator" but it was an obsceneword, so they they decided to change name to "D.P.D.". Their punk was hard, agressive and fast. In fact it was crust style. After next two years full of gigs and hard work their style evolved to trash/havy metal. Romek left a band moving to Lublin for studies - the new bass guitarist Skórek brought his facination in pulsating riffs. Second guitarist Adrian joined them giving big kick of energy to band as a member and new posibilities as some kind of 'manager'. They were playing with punk rock legend K.S.U. and bands like HER. Unfortunatly it wasn't good period in their lifes. There was no time for music...After few months brake they found new vocalists Chyży and with changed style started to play again. D.P.D. anno domini 2004 were four guys: Kostek, Bednar, Skórek & Chyży. Adrian decided to focus on being techical adviosor for bands from Zamość, but he stayed as some kind of 'no playing group member'. The new style was compilation betwen Chyży's screeming vocals, punk rock roots and metalcore experiments. In next 10 months they played just three gigs, recorded small demo cd, changed bass guitarist (his name was Bartek)... and composed twenty five new songs. On June 2005 they decided to dissolve a grup. Now they are living in four cities in two countries - Poland and UK.
