A Veteran DJ of 25 years Tony Soul has spun at some of the biggest clubs here in the states including the House of Blues as the Head Resident DJ for 7 years in both New Orleans, as well as Los Angeles. During his time at the House of Blues, Tony Soul played along side some of the best DJs, and Artists in the business, including Quest Love, Biz Markie, The X-cutioners, DJ Premier & many others. Prior to that, Tony Soul worked as Entertainment Director & Head resident DJ at the Fashion Café owned by Supermodel Naomi Campbell & others. He also served as Mary J. Blige’s Tour Promoter during the My Life promo tour. Going on to work at several clubs in L.A. (Goodbar, Martini Lounge, Century Club), as well as working as an On-Air personality at WYLD-FM & WQUE-FM New Orleans, as well as WPWR, WWRL in NYC. Tony Soul has been in the business since 9 yrs old as both a Label Executive, as well as spinning with his father, The NYC radio Legend Hank Spann, and hasn’t looked back since.
A veteran Hip Hop DJ, DJ Sandman changed his name as his sound changed after moving to San Francisco. With the House scene in San Francisco bubbling at all times, with all sub genres Tony Soul worked quickly to find his niche in the scene.
Now he is host to his own Internet Radio show (The Tony Soul Show), as well as a Friday slot on Radio 4by4, The Soulful House Music Collage & Deep Soul Radio. He has become an international podcast sensation with over 200 downloads per day from around the world for the past 6 months without even touring internationally.
Now Tony Soul has taken his talents to Asia where Taipei is now home. With great support in the region, Soul takes his Deep Grooves to the Far East…
