Bio

Born in 1976 in Asola, near Mantua, more famous as the town where the Latin poet Virgilius was born, Marco started to get in touch with music in his early years. During the elementary school he attended piano lessons, then he studied violin and classical music for 3 years, but in the end he choosed the guitar. He began to play guitar at 17, by playing heavy metal, hard rock and thrash metal. After some years he became a singer too, and matured a completely different taste that brought him in the direction of songwriters like Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Donovan and many others, American folk, delta blues and rock. He lived almost one year in Lithuania, the best period of his life. During that time he learnt not only the basic elements of Lithuanian language, history and culture, but he got in touch with the Lithuanian artistic reality. In one month in Marijampole he wrote the entire concept album "Postcards from wilderness", that was partially recorded in Italy. Actually he lives in Italy, even if the best result for him would be to move to Lithuania and to have the chance to combine there his skills with Lithuanian artistic reality.
